What IS up with that Dropping In DVD?

jp

So spring has sprung, and ya'll may be wondering... what IS up with that Dropping In DVD?

Well, here's the straight dope. It turns out that putting together a professional quality DVD is no small trick. In fact, not one bit of the filmmaking process is easy. Shoot, if we'd have known how tough this gig was going to be before we got started then we probably would never have even tried. But a little bit of ignorance can take you a long way, and fortunately we were just ignorant enough to keep plowing right on through the whole process... and we have indeed come a long way.

So while we continue to deal with the many technical details of authoring a quality DVD, which we'll make available as soon as we can, we want to give ya'll another chance to see the completed film via online stream...

New Trailer!!

jp

While we've pushed the release of the full-length feature DVD to the end of May in order to dial in a quality sound mix, we've cut a new trailer for y'all to check out in the meantime. We hope you like it, and please feel free to let us know what you think with a comment. - jp

The session at Betafish went as smooth as silk. I've posted some pics of the session...

Post-production update...

jp

Lots happening as we barrel toward a spring release...

This weekend we record the film's score at Jed Smith's Betafish Studio in Santa Monica... Maestro Carlos Alvarez will lead the music team through something like 33 minutes of cues, along with a few original songs written and performed by Josh Johnson. I'll try and get some pics or video at the session and post them next week.

What Got Me Started

jp

I'm a filmmaker who grew up in SoCal. My parents divorced when I was very young, so I am an only child. From early on, I've always loved telling stories to my friends, so I knew that telling stories was something I wanted to do, somehow...
