So spring has sprung, and ya'll may be wondering... what IS up with that Dropping In DVD?

Well, here's the straight dope. It turns out that putting together a professional quality DVD is no small trick. In fact, not one bit of the filmmaking process is easy. Shoot, if we'd have known how tough this gig was going to be before we got started then we probably would never have even tried. But a little bit of ignorance can take you a long way, and fortunately we were just ignorant enough to keep plowing right on through the whole process... and we have indeed come a long way.

So while we continue to deal with the many technical details of authoring a quality DVD, which we'll make available as soon as we can, we want to give ya'll another chance to see the completed film via online stream...

From midnight PST on July 3, 2008 until midnight PST July 6, 2008 we will again stream THE ENTIRE MOVIE! We''ll post the link to the stream right up at the top of the droppinginmovie.com website homepage.

It's good to be truly independent, and we can't think of a better way to celebrate Independence Day than to share the movie with ya'll. Spread the word, and thanks again for your support.

SNEAK PREVIEW

Okay kids, the good news is that the movie is 100% finished - WooooHooooooooo! And we are now having a high quality dvd master professionally authored!

The less than good news is that it will take a couple of weeks for that to finish.... Awwww.

But there's also some better than good news... Because all our fans have been so patient... and because post production has taken longer than expected, we're going to post the entire movie online for ya'll to stream absolutely free for a special online sneak screening!!!

While we've pushed the release of the full-length feature DVD to the end of May in order to dial in a quality sound mix, we've cut a new trailer for y'all to check out in the meantime. We hope you like it, and please feel free to let us know what you think with a comment. - jp
